As shapes intersect with each other and gradient blocks, their tones shift—creating intriguing transitions where a single form appears in multiple shades within the same frame. This interaction between value and spatial layering adds complexity, inviting the viewer to see familiar forms anew through changes in light and tone.

Here are the 12 sets from my Design Play ('DesPlay') project in 2022 — a playful exploration of design styles that resonated with me, approached intuitively with each set built around its own distinct theme. I learned a lot through the process and came away with a stronger sense of the styles I naturally gravitate towards, a sharper eye for applying design principles, and a clearer idea of what I could realistically achieve in a year-long personal project. It was an immersive and fun experience — all created in Figma.

My favourite set from my 'Design Play (DesPlay)' series, 2022 which I animated. See below for the rest of the sets.

Dreamland Music Video — Opening Sequence

I created the short opening sequence for Sticky Fingers’ animated music video Dreamland, produced by Shroom Studios. Crafted in Photoshop with custom brushes, the hand-painted, frame-by-frame animation was developed using stylised rotoscoping techniques based on live-action footage, drawing visual inspiration from A Scanner Darkly. The video brings together multiple animators, each contributing a unique visual style to form a dynamic, collaborative piece.

Sticker designs created for JNTO and Changi Airport. Changi sticker sheet was sold at the airport alongside other merchandise I designed using a similar visual style. The JNTO stickers were a concept intended for use on social platforms.
